My FB feed is about as left wing as it gets, follow The Guardian, Owen Jones, Labour, JC, Lib Dems and lots of social welfare charities / NGOs....
But yet the Tories think I'm worth targetting?

I wonder if they've properly declared the ad spends ๐
I hear the latest poll only gives them a 3% lead and not enough seats for form a goverment, crazy how things have changed, I still think they'll win, but it's been an amazing turn around.
I gave up Politics after Boris failed to stand for PM.... ๐
Are those headlinese the worst they can do? ๐
I'm one of the few Labour supporters in my local village, having flip flipped between then and the Lib Dems. There's no way that Labour will win, not unless they form a coalition and even then I don't think that it's entirely right that two minority parties form a majority government for the sake of gaining office.
However, the reasons for the Labour resurgence aren't hard to see. Theresa May has badly judged the prevailing mood, she's also failed on a number of policy issues and it's patently obvious that she is incapable of debating at the same level as Farron, Corbyn and Sturgeon et al. People are starting to question whether she's the right person to negotiate with Juncker and the remaining EU.
Labour have also taken the welcome step of releasing a manifesto that isn't the foreword to a dystopian fiction novel.

As an early release automated chat bot I'm guessing chewkw was released across multiple platforms but lacks the self awareness to recognise multiple instances of its own code.
[edit]Sorry that was mean[/edit]
โI always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.โ

They sent me a leaflet with my name etc on asking me to vote for them. ๐
No, I don't use bookmyface.
.
Seriously, anyone who thinks May is a leader clearly isn't thinking, and Corbyn is talking sense to me, and any other party seems a total waste of a vote. so guess where my vote is going ๐

How on earth do they manage in all those other countries where no party ever has a majority in government? Supplementary point: is it right that a party has a majority in parliament and so can do whatever they like on 43% of the vote?

Would you vote for Tim shouty shouty Farron? Would you? ๐
Remember Tim promise to turn back the clock while Corbyn does not so why don't you vote for Time shouty shouty Farron? ๐

Which one? ๐
Tim shouty shouty Farron?
Or
Three blokes dancing J.Corbyn not Jesus Christ?
May was crap as home secretary, way out of her depth. Prime ministerly she and Corbyn ain't, but at least Corbyn has had a distinguished 30 year career as a politician and peace activist and deserves a chance.
If he's rubbish, get rid of him in 5 years time and elect another right wing Tory government. However, at this present moment, we really need to give something other than Thatcherite neoliberalism a go.

Can you post a pic of yourself, I want to see if you have left wing face.
I think targeting lefties with negative Corbyn messages is actually completely deliberate and not a mistake. Theory is that it might chip away at your resolve and you might not bother to vote which is almost as good as voting for the tories...
I'm getting targetted conservative advertising. I"m a labour party member? For the record I don't think Corbyn is a strong leader, but maybe the time for strong leaders is over, after all, no one can deny Trump is a strong leader!

Swing voters maybe, but my profile should tell them I'd rather die than vote Tory...

Well, dur.
However, at this present moment, we really need to give something other than poorly thought out, second rate, and certainly poorly executed Thatcherite neoliberalism a go

Tessa sent me two letters. The first on very posh paper, but she got a bit over familiar when she used my first name alone.

Like Italy? 11 governments in 13 years, or Belgium with no government for 18 months?

Targetting is done by Facebook. The more people they show the ads to the more they get paid. Advertisers have no real idea who is seeing the ads.

You prefer Mr Boy then ๐
Main reason I ditched Facebook, sick of the adverts disguised as information posts, they quite clearly sell your preferences to the highest bidder, so it's also a privacy concern.
No, I was thinking like the Netherlands or Germany - generally seen as good examples of strong stable governments.
Targetting is done by Facebook.
Uh no, not so much. Facebook segments the audience and paid for posts select the segments they want to target.
Try targeting the wrong audience and you soon see a difference.
Link to an interesting BBC article about Facebook targeting ads: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-40059846
Well, a cheap personal attack worked against Tony Blair in those posters.
Kind of wish it had, although there's no way of knowing what the shower of ****s we've have had instead would have done.
I want to know more about the ducks in the headline. Is it saying that corbyn's pet ducks have been radicalised, or that he plans on using ducks to combat terrorism?

I don't see that many to be honest and you can banish any advert they show you and block that company from sending you posts, I ban pretty much every ad I see, which is probably why my feed is very ad quiet now..
