[Closed] Weird problem on my android phone.Random old pictures reappearing as if new

So, had a google search and de nada so thought I'd ask here.

Bit of a weird problem. If I'm sending messages to someone through FB Messenger or WhatsApp, when I go to add an image (say a pic I've recently taken or saved) there are random older pictures sent in FB Messenger showing up within the first few photos you scroll through to select.
Like it thinks they are from a different date/time than they are?

Normally they appear in sets, and it can be different sets. Quite a variable thing too, sometimes doesn't happen for ages, sometimes every day.
They appear in the wrong order in the main photos gallery too and if I delete them they re-appear. But when you check their stats they have their original date/time stamps?
Have even done a clean re-install and still happens.
I have also stopped FB Messenger from backing up online but that doesn't help
