Weird and/or creepy adverts

That KFC ad where they're 'baptising' someone in, I presume, gravy.

Its reappeared again now - but in the very, very brink of lockdown, when the public consciousness was all about sanitiser and not shaking hands and disinfecting the mail and your groceries and particularly about just trying to keep your hands away from your face  this KFC ad inadvertently started airing this ad (they'd presumably made it months earlier)  and very, very quickly it looked very, very bad. It was just seemingly aired two or three times then disappeared - I remember linking to it in the early pages of the covid thread but within a few hours it was deleted from YouTube etc too

Any ad with whistling needs to go in the sea.

I agree, it's notably used when trying to sell you life insurance/ funeral plans but they are terrified that people will just totally be turned off by the content so think that adding a nice, cheerful whistle makes it all fine and dandy.

It's been said but the gambling ones are particularly odious.

They either want make gambling seem like a wonderful, social occasion (on a phone app I suspect it's the total opposite) or and far worse, seek to reassure people that they are looking after them and not causing many families utter misery by giving them "online tools" to "look after them" .

The utter and blatant hypocrisy makes me fume.

Remember the cute old people puppets flogging payday loans on an app.

OK, now I want an Abarth...

I’ve not watched the advert, but I have driven the cars, and they’re an almost indecent amount of fun! If I had the money to be able to afford another, small car, it would be an Abart!

It’s because you can throw them around at legal speeds and have a lot of smiles for miles.

It’s what made the original hot hatches fun , not the performance but the giggly handling.
