Not started one of these in a while, mostly because I haven;t been taking pics and when I have they've been crap. This lot isn;t great, but its a start and hopefully someone else will come up with something worth looking at

Just a few pics from Saturday's ride to Cragg Quarry with Papa Lazarou -

[img] [/img]
Nice and fast through the berm

[img] [/img]
and over the jump

[img] [/img]
And again, with added Gurn (tm)

[img] [/img]
Playing in the woods

[img] [/img]
And once again with The Gurn in full effect

I still haven't worked out if The Gurn is deliberate to help him concentrate, or if it's involuntary...

Just realised how CRAP facebook makes your pictures. might try sticking them elsewhere so they don't get compressed to hell. then again I might just have a beer and watch the telly 🙂

Forge - you know I was only joking id only watched 15secs and then posted the comment!

Watched it in full now though - Looks like it has lots of switchbacks/trail features to kill the speed (am i right??) - quite a bit different to fort bill DH/AE uplift days.

224 looks nice too (seen pics a few months ago)

oxnop - yeah I know it made me smile 😀 , plenty of switchbacks and the ones at the end of the Gold Run were steep and loose but it was awesome.

The other uplift I've done was CwnCarn and that is a very different feeling course much more point down and hold on with a few corners.

Not done Fort Bill yet that is for a little later in the year maybe once I've got a bit better!!, and I've only ever pushed up to the top at Ae for a couple runs when I first got the bike and it's a heavy bike for pushing up. 🙂

@sfb - looks like a circular 'clone' tool to remove something from the sky?

on the first I wondered if it was a panorama with stitching artifacts, but that wouldn't seem to explain the 2nd 🙁

Another Berwyn Bash, 33 miles and 5000ft. Gorgeous countryside.

A few more on that Flickr set

Am impressed with the images that can be produced from these very compact cameras. Canon ixus series in my case.

Hope to get out more whilst the dryness persists!! :))

Haha Jambo - that would be Tavi Woods eh? Awesome place to ride; as chilled and fun as you want or as big and ballsy as you like.

Well, I've been posting it everywhere else (mainly here), so here's the best one from Saturdays trek through some Highland wilderness

You Tammy Jwat!

I actually preferred Tavi Woods to Gawton; Tavi is more chilled and fun. Gawton you have to be on it to get the most out of (unless you're cruising HSD)

I am currently running a guess the celebrity competition for who me and my girlfriend met this weekend watching the Brazil game.

Oh and Forge, I liked the video but the camera was a little down-facing for me. I thought that Carron Bank video was quite good posted here a day or two a go in terms of the angle. Do you think you could turn the Inners DH into a XC course if I went mid week with no one else there? Looks fun!

Simon - google mount camera didn't set the angle up right!! The Camera does no justice in the gradient and the drops.

Of course you could do it on an XC bike mid week but it's no Mabie that's for sure the bottom of the gold run is very steep and very loose not sure I have any desire to be doing it on an XC bike anytime soon!!

Ah cheers - maybe I'll take a look at it one day then before deciding to run down - always the case of a camera flattening slopes ay?

I'll be back in August for some rides by I have quite a serious knee problem which is not healing right now, so I may need to have that seen to before any major rides.

Fun with bent nails and a hammer. Yad Moss summer work parties, the engineers got the fisher price toolkit out and took the motor off ready for replacing bushings. I reduced about 80m of snow fence to kit form ready for rebuilding.
