I have a couple of websites and domains with 34sp.com which are supurb and have not had any problems for many years.

However, I been tasked to sort a website for my Parish Council. I suggested 34sp and for around 50quid hosting and £20 domain for 4 years.

As always someone at the meeting can get all this for tenner elsewhere 😉

All we want is a domain, custom word press installation so require a database.

So what does STW recommend as a hosting company at this point in time.

Who do you think is the bees knees in the web hosting game at the moment.

Or just carry on with 34sp.

Thanks

ipage, moved to them from GoDaddy who were a lot of fluff for not very much, and their renewal price was a bit daft

Use it as a place to test sites I'm building, had no issues with loading a Wordpress site

Just started building a new website on TSOHost. I'm using the business website builder but did consider the cloud option they do. Seems good so far.

I moved from 34sp to TSO. Seems faster, customer service is much better and cheaper too I think.

Price sounds ok, you know them, you are insane to move. Get the people who can do it for less to do it themselves 🙂

Fwiw I use GoDaddy and they have been great

www.aegishosting.co.uk - I've had nothing but great service from them and I've been using them for around 13 years. Seems a very good price for everything that is included.

Another vote for Tso host. Dead easy to get WordPress running on there. Responsive customer service too.
