Following on from a thread I created earlier in the year, the g/f has been put in contact with a local company by a friend (sorry Alexxx, she went behind my back).
TBH the local company are 'supposedly' doing her a favour, as she is friends with a some-one who could, if she gives good feed back, send a lot of high value business their way..
So quickly: £250 for a Joomla, basic 5 page site? (design & development). Static content, & nothing e-commerce.
Obviously you can't judge what has yet to be produced, but off-hand the cost?
Depends on what they will do with the 'design' of Joomla. It's a well-known CMS, with 1000s of templates ready available. Could be 30 seconds installing someone elses.
Does that include 1 year hosting? domain name (unless you have it already?)
Most web dev/design companies I have done business with work around £50/hr....
