There’s a sink in 3 of the photos.

I knew someone like that, suffice to say I used to bring my own crockery and cutlery around when invited for dinner.

I worked for a spell in that there London.

A lot of people in the company, had a family home way outside of London, would travel down on Monday morning and stay in a flat in a crappy part of London and travel home at Friday lunchtime. Worked for them.

These could be an option for something like that lifestyle.

I think it's the people that run Snoozebox / Portable Living Group. Seem to be run by someone from Dubai for some reason.

http://theportablelivinggroup.com/portable-housing/

They already supply them for council housing..

Surely we reach Peak London when someone buys one, divides it in two, lives in one half and sublets the other half for 3 grand a month?

Nah, we reach Peak London when they make the influencer video about how they're living the hustle and well on their way to being a millionaire.

A lot of people in the company, had a family home way outside of London, would travel down on Monday morning and stay in a flat in a crappy part of London and travel home at Friday lunchtime. Worked for them.

Friends of mine bought a narrowboat, the husband was still working, based in Birmingham, the other half, who’s my friend, actually an ex-g/f, had retired and their home was out in the wilds of Cambridgeshire, near March. He used to travel over to Brum and stay in the boat during the week, then back home for the weekend. Saved them quite a bit, and once he retired, they brought the boat back home and have her moored in a marina not far away. There’s actually a canal spur at the end of their road, so they can bring the boat around, moor her up and walk backwards and forwards when loading and unloading.

They’ve just brought her back from a canal trip up around Northampton, Leicester etc, been away for 68 days. Difficult to do that with a container…

The boat’s 58’ long, weighs 17 tons. Not one of those little hire things.
