Ok, So I'm getting married next month, and want to buy the Mrs a present as a kinda "thankyou for being you"
Any ideas?
what be her hobbies/likes/favourite memories of you two as a couple?
Everyone laughed when I got the Mrs a canoe paddle for valentines day, but she liked it. Something important to her as an individual rather than one of the old standards IMO.

Days in the Hills with the dogs/ Camping..
Or our 1st trip to Paris..
Jewellery always works, surely?
I bought my wife a gold bracelet for my daughters 1st birthday - again as a "thanks for being you" gift. It was completely unexpected and she still raves about it.
Or for something more practical, how about a decent set of binoculars - light enough to take whilst out walking - and a wildlife spotting book. You could write an endearing message in the book.

A tent, atop Montmartre, with a poodle in it.
No need to thank me.

Good plan... Jewelry it is..
Sorry Flashy..
Something you wouldn't normally get. So jewellery works... or a tent obviously
Go to the jewelry quarter in Birmingham. Make a day of it .Buy a diamond.
Mr bh bought me some pearl earrings, which I wear almost always.
Or, something like a rose bush (in a pot) would be a lovely gift.
Oh and congratulations.
We got married in October and the colours were great for photos, shame that we're an ugly couple (whoops sorry nbt) ๐
Nice pendant or chunky ring, not every woman wants diamonds, are they something she would wear? or a chunky bracelet, nice ear rings? Or for me some body armour.....
