Looking for :
Nato strap
Tough
Black case
Clear digits
Largish
Sapphire glass would be nice / not a deal breaker.
Sub £200

Not a G shock.

Something like a MWC G10 but bigger.

Thanks

how about these?
Tick all boxes bar the NATO strap (rubber straps) I have the cheap Apeks (freebie with a sub to Dive magazine) and it's taken a few dints and dings but still looks good and is my first choice watch. Glass is slightly recessed from timer dial which protects it. Only issue is luminosity of the hands isn't very long lasting, although very bright at first fades pretty quick. Would last the length of a dive though which I guess it's what it's designed for.

+1

Its been 4 years since CFH recommended this to me, still loving it, its been through some tough times yet there still isnt a mark on it.

Plus my son loves it an aspires to one. For me, that makes it the no1 watch.

I was going to suggest this but it's a bit over budget at £255:

Fantastically well put together watches.

I'd go for the Citizen posted above out of the suggestions so far.

70% off certain Torgoen watches today, I bought one of the T05 models last year when they had 50% off and I thought that was a bargain, tempted to get another at sub £100 for a £250 watch. 12 months on and it hasn't missed a beat (well it still tells the correct time!), and I think you'll find one that ticks all your boxes above -
