Catastrophic failure or just a seal?

Leak appears to be coming from a joint in the plastic that encapsulates the drum.

Looks like therewith plastic half's are meant to be fused together but clearly something has failed.

It's 3 months old by the way.

Man not coming out for a week (from Hoover) but if it's total ruin, we may as well buy a new one today and go for a refund etc.

You need to take it up with who you bought it from rather than Hoover. SoGA and all that, it's their problem.

AO are sendubgbthe Hoover Chap.

For clarity, looking from underneath it, the drum that holds the washing must be housed in something, it is that something that is leaking, at a joint but it looks like it's welded together or glued ratherbthan a mechanical seal as there doesn't appearing be any fixings. Only things to locate the 2 halves together
