Was thinking of doing this on Friday, looks wet but can anyone advise on ground conditions? Will be travelling a fair old way so would like to know that it's rideable. Thanks

A very good wet weather option IMO, make sure you do the descent into seathwaite too.

Enjoy.

Lakes is generally rideable year round. Mainly rocky. Few boggy bits around there but not much. Depends on your chosen route however.

Depends which loop you're doing. Sure it will be rideable though.

The track that cuts off halfway down the Dunnerdale side that heads towards Stephenson Ground can get very boggy as it traverses around White Pike and across Caw Moss. Apart from that, as most people have said, the tracks are rocky and mostly all weather.
