Off to Marmaris soon, not our usual type of holiday,but looking forward to chilling for a week.
Anybody know of good routes around marmaris? Maybe in the hills nearby? Don't mind short walks or spending all day on our feet. 🚶
We stayed in the last hotel to the south of the bay many years ago, Grand Yaziki or similar. Pleasant walk around the headland to Icmelir on market day, and we took a horse riding excursion about five miles inland, looked to be good walking country but no idea of access laws etc,

Exactly where we stayed 10 years ago. Walk to Icmeler was nice, but didn't pay much attention to walking opportunities back then.
The castle isn't - or wasn't - well signposted but is definitely worth a couple of hours.
