Move over Salt & Vinegar ..Lime & Black Pepper are where it's at ..
That sounds fantastic. I shall hunt some down.
Aldi Sea Salt & Lime - can't see past them (until they're gone)
I preferred the bacon and cheddar to smokey bacon.
Prawn cocktail > Paprika.
Not had the other ones yet.
Aldi Sea Salt & Lime - can't see past them (until they're gone)
+1
In a world with such a choice of nice crisps to eat, if you choose to eat walkers you lost already.
Don't the Sea Salt & Lime remind you of the old Scampy Fries? (another +1 though, agreed)
Lime & Black Pepper
I have a packet sitting on my desk. They're okay, not a lot of pepper going on and there's a hint of cheese n onion about them.
There's no way they will stop making salt n vinegar crisps.
In a world with such a choice of nice crisps to eat, if you choose to eat walkers you lost already.
Oh we have a crisp snob among us.

Thanks for letting us know your opinion.
Oh we have a crisp snob among us.
You know what they say. If you have the time and inclination to be snobby about crisps, then you've lost already.
He probably likes those hand cooked **** that look like toe nails.
He probably likes those hand cooked **** that look like toe nails.
If it says 'artisan' on the packet, they actually are toenails.
Exquisitely curated toenails, of course.
I actually thought the Lime and black pepper were a great alternative to salt and vinegar (which I find too vinegary), but the cheese and bacon are pretty poor but then Walkers smokey bacon rule in my crisp world.
Double post..
Crisp snobbery would deny the delight of Lidl Snaktastic Prawn Cocktail or Seabrook Crinkle Cut.
I'm out.
Guilty as charged.
Rapidly heading towards being a biscuit snob tooPacket of these last week lasted no time at all:
Kettle chips, they sell them in supermarkets. If you were any way a proper crisp snob you wouldn't be anywhere near them.
If we are choosing our favourite crisps ..then these would win hands down for me ..the hottest black pepper crisps I've tasted

I think Walkers have been quite brave putting their biggest selling flavour up against the best of the new bunch which I think the Lime & Black Pepper is ..I would love to see them squirm there way out of it should the LBP win ..but then again how would we know ?
I think the fact that they are their biggest selling flavour suggests they would win?
What sort of sad ***** actually vote in these sorts of things though?
but then again how would we know ?
I've already filed a FoI request for the actual data.
Right. I've just done my duty and voted on the Walker's website.
OK, I haven't really, but mainly as you have to register to do so. The day I register with a crisps company to vote on a flavour is the day it's time to open the drawer marked 'whiskey & revolvers'.*
*Which would probably be a better flavour than roast chicken.
I like Walkers, and can't stand Kettle chips!
Jamie ..pass me the bottle 😆
If we line our heads up, we can save a bullet 🙂
Don't the Sea Salt & Lime remind you of the old Scampy Fries?
How did you phrase that so it sounded like criticism?
Brannigans roast beef and mustard are the finest crisps known to man.
Anyone dissing walkers is a fool. They’re forgetting salt and vinegar squares, wotsits, sensations and of course Monster Munch roast beef and pickled onion (flaming hot just don’t do it for me)
Bit partial to the Brannigans myself !
Worst flavour ever - Seabrook sweetcorn. Potentially sounds okay, but bloody hell, a taste straight from Beelzebub's bowel.
I'm oot unless somebody wants to provide a taste-off against wuggy sauce wheat crunchies and/or nice'n'spicy nik naks
Binners...not seen those but I will make it my life's mission to hunt them down..they sound fantastic..

For the brannigans fans (I most definitely am!)
I’ve never heard of Lancashire crisps. Maybe they haven’t made it this far south yet.
Walkers are shite, bring back Tudor! Or pass the roysters....
Co op salt and white wine vinegar. The single most amazing crisps ever. That is all.
I'm bloody salivating at the thought of those Lancashire crisps. Booths?

And behind the bar at all self-respecting lancashire pubs. The perfect post-ride, pint-accompanying crisp! 🙂
Roast Owl Flavour or GTFO
+1 for those bacon and maple syrup kettle chips, demolished some the other night.
Regarding the original question, I did scoff at the very idea of walkers sacking off S&V flavour but i will give those lime and pepper lads a chance.
Those Lancashire crisps sound splendid, brannigans are a rare treat down this way.
Some great crisps in the thread but
Co op salt and white wine vinegar. The single most amazing crisps ever. That is all.
Is not wrong, so vinegary they make your face go numb. Utterly fabulous snackage.
brannigans are a rare treat down this way
The big newsagents in Lancing High Street near the Co-op used to do them. Not been in there in a while though.
I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I love ready salted Seabrook crisps. Please don't judge me
Hadn't realised that Mackies did crisps..but their ice cream is also delicious..
I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I love ready salted Seabrook crisps. Please don't judge me
Judge you? I bloody love Seabrook crisps! They are the perfect crisp butty crisps, particularly salt and vinegar ones (with Warburtons toastie breadd and cheese singles). I'm not going to diss Walkers either. These are bloody lovely....
All crisps are good! With one or two notable exceptions, there's just varying degrees of loveliness. Personally, I've found that it's the pricier/poncier end of things that are the most disappointing
What sort of sad ***** actually vote in these sorts of things though?
Do you not remember Boaty McBoaty Face or any other failed social media PR campaign, it wasnt that long ago the walkers ran that walkerswave thing which got taken over and pictures of Harold SHipman and Jimmy Saville apearing on it!
But will try the new flavour, I am a big salt n vinegar fan, currently really enjoying hula hoops as the salt levels are spot on, I find walkers and McCoys not too flavoursome these days.
+1Binners...not seen those but I will make it my life's mission to hunt them down..they sound fantastic..
having purchased a bag at lunch I can safely say the lime and pepper walkers were almost as disappointing as every other limited edition flavour crisp that, lets face it, wouldn't be limited if they were any good.
Black Pudding Lancashire crisps are ace ! They serve them at my local.

Meh, crisps are OK, but they're no match for Twiglets
I love crisps, but I am sure they lace Pringles with coke as I can't leave a tub alone.
Will check our local Booths for some of the bad boys listed above. Cheers.
Bacon Frazzles, not really a crisp more a devine invention...I mean Bacon AND Crisps 😀
Salt and vinegar pork scratchings? That's just wrong.
Pinkster - averse as I am to people getting all festive in September, last week someone dropped me off an early Christmas present. I think you'd appreciate it. One of these
😀
Just had some of the Lime & Black Pepper Walkers.
It's a no from me. Not not nice, but not in S&V levels of awesomeness.
Cheers Binners, Mrs. Pinkster got me one of those last year. I can highly recommend it.
