So they say they are not a religion, and the article suggests they are more of a campaign group pushing back against the Trumpian evangelical right.
It's kind of sad that they've gone down the cosplay Dark Lord route, I guess it gets them attention but distorts their message.
Of course, they could be a group of grifters making money out of gullible believers like the MAGA crowd, or maybe a front for the more hard line goat sacrificing wing of the Satanist party, but an interesting response to the shitshow that is right wing American politics/society
Their twitter account is very funny, mostly just pulling up hypocrisy of the maga crew
There's a good documentary about them, essentially a campaign group against evangelical Christian orgs and their influence on politics, schools etc.

What is fun is that because the organisation is classed as a church/religion they get the same tax breaks other ones do.
Yes, read that article earlier and thought the same. Can imagine their 'core tenets' as being pretty appealing to a lot of folk, especially the focus on inclusion along with their apparent sense of humour. I've set the video to record the documentary now too...
I've always liked Black Sabbath but hadn't appreciated I might have actually been a satanist all along! 😉
It’s all explained quite neatly in the Bible. God is an insecure, egotistical bully, and Satan is the hero who sets us free. Quite why anyone would choose to follow the first dude, I literally have no idea. 🤷♂️
I’ve had a bit of experience of them through my work. Tedious in the extreme.
The Satanic Bible by Anton Levey is an interesting read. Makes you think about some things, leaves you agog at other ideas but overall it's a much better and more relevant read today than a religious text. Give it a blast, whilst listening to Black Sabbath. \m/

Depends on your current location, for the French a new recipe, for the USA more theme parks, Glasgow a small improvment over what they have now.
I follow them on certain social media platforms, and I’m considering joining them. There’s always a bunch of evangelicals pushing their particular cult in town on Saturdays, so I’ll enjoy strolling past them wearing a Satanic Temple tee shirt.
The Satanic Temple thing is mainly to draw attention to their attitude to Nationalist Christians/Evangelicals/Fascists/Extremist right-wing cults in general.
Something I’m all in favour of.
