So I'm in Italy, and have bought a Vodafone Italy mobile data sim card for the netbook. I'm typing this now connected to the network, and all seems fine.. until I go to try and logon to email, facebook etc... it seems https pages will not load. Strangely, I can log on to Singletrack, but yahoo mail, hotmail, facebook pages just wont load at all.
Any ideas? Win XP on the netbook and Mobile Partner doing the data connection management.
No idea on the question but how did you get the sim without a codice fiscale? (That is if you don't have one)
Sorted now - seems I just had to wait!
Getting the SIM was easy - just went into a phone shop and asked for one. Copy of passport and I think he just put my address as the shop. All online within an hour.
