Watched a demo of one of these babies yesterday and was impressed, but at nearly 500 quid I need a bit of convincing that they're worth the money.

Smoothies, ice cream and hot soup all from the same liquidiser
Any first hand experiences? Particularly motor reliability and customer service.

It makes hot soup ?

So blender for 50 quid .... Big pot for 20 quid

The Hob that came with the house - or being even stingier the top of my wood burner = hot soup

Total saving 430 quid.

I should go on money saving expert. 🙂

But it could be amusing for " can we blend it" ..... My 50 quid blender would strugle with an iphone or a brick

I have one and it's the best thing since sliced bread. I too was a bit worried about spending £500 on one, but it's paid for itself ten times over. Top quality bit of kit.

Snake oil soup with added holograms and essence of magnet. Folk are buying it like erm - hot soup cakes.

Be fair his trolls are more gentle than they used to be.

I cant see why you want one given the price of a pan and a normal blender tbh.

£500 jesus even the £130 seems dear for what it does.
I have one and it's the best thing since sliced bread. Can it actually slice bread though? I imagine it's somewhat better at making breadcrumbs.

It can slice bread into very tiny pieces.
