Car = 2004 Honda HRV 60K on the clock)
got another problem... hopefully not major!
when breaking at very low speeds coming to a standstill, there is what sounds like an electronic 'clicking' 'brrrrr' noise and the brake pedal slightly vibrates.
I am guessing this could be an ABS problem?
there are NO warning lights on the dash.
could it be the ABS pump on the way out?
it could just be wear and tear on a certain part however i was looking at the throttle body on the weekend and was giving it a good spray with throttle cleaner, is there any ABS parts around this area... could some over spray got into the ABS???

No ABS bits by the throttle body unless your car has TC - then there might be.
The vibrating brake pedal implies a potential ABS fault.
Sounds like your abs is working but is for some reason over sensitive. Could be a abs ring loose and catching on the sensor giving a false lock up signal hence abs kicking in. Give sensors and rings a good clean and inspection and the brake pads and callipers while your at it seen a loose calliper cause a similar sensation but with a loud clonk when you 1st press the brake.
Our 14 year old primera does it. Like the abs is kicking in just as you come to a standstill. Lead to belive its a dirty sensor. its done it for about 3 years 😳

spot on nearly word for word what the local garage guy just told me, its now now and he's going to have a fiddle.
Hopefully a easy fix for you.
Needs live data looking at while the fault occurs , this will show which wheel speed sensor is showing a faulty signal .
update, looks like one of the rear ABS speed sensors was shot!
