Link please ?

A ban is a bit irrelevant as it was her goal to ski at the Olympics which she got to do. It wasn't a career move for her.

Good, it was an insult to the ski world !!

Pointless action though, five officials were also punished, doesn't say what nationality though that I can see, surely the Thai Olympic Committee should be sanctioned ?

Reading the BBC article, it doesn't look like it was Lance level in its sophistication. The results included someone who wasn't even there 😀

The FIS should hold it's head in shame for not having a proper qualification series, then it wouldn't be open to such abuse. IMO it is they who have come out of this badly

No big surprises there - it was always apparent those results were dodgy. At least the insult of her taking part is at least now partly balanced by her embarrassment that everybody knows she cheated.

I guess she'll have to bow out now.

lets be honest, it's one of the most minor cases of corruption associated with the Sochi Olympics.

The dodgy qualification results were in Slovenia.

She should have gone for Archery .
it could have seen her a horse hair away from a medal.

I will bow out now

And she's in big treble with the authorities. It's a major offence, and they're going to throw away the key, I expect.

Quite a unique case...

Certainly seems orchestrated,

Will have raised tensions no doubt

but I don't mean to draw this back and forth and make a racket.

Well I bet she had fun at the time, on that note, I hope her thermals were comfortable, sometimes I find them a bit

slim for knee.

It just goes to show how a lack of good Christian values allows such diabolical corruption to take place. I have got the right officials, the Slovenian, Pagan-ini?

Yes, I know what I have done and I am sorry...

I didn't think skiing was her forte. Too much glissando and the cadence is all wrong, quavering about on a snow slope. Minim um punishment should be to be behind bars.

So skiing isn't going to be another string on her bow, neither is cheating is it really.
