Are all video tripods above to hold a DSLR? I am on the Wex Photographic page, and would like to purchase a video tripod for my SLR, but the description says nothing about compatibility.

Yes, should be fine. Just about all tripods use a 1/4" screw for attaching to the camera, which works with any DSLR or compact camera etc.
A "video tripod" is usually just a tripod with a pan/tilt head. Just make sure it is strong enough to support the weight of the camera and lens.
