I've just bought a GoPro (amazing service from JensonUSA by the way) and need to manipulate the clips.

What's everyone using and how good is it?

Oh, I'm a PC user uinfortunately.

Sony Vegas Platinum Suite HD is great value from Amazon - £40ish. Im still learning how to use it but so far it looks pretty damn good.

I've heard that mentioned.

Also heard some good things about Pinnacle Studio HD - anyone using?

No, I used Pinnacle Studio 8 years ago, and to quote a disgruntled user on the support forum 'Studio 8 is the only software I was given free and felt I was overcharged' Think it's a lot better now though. It was super easy to use, but the audio and visual went out of sync after 5mins. If they have it sorted, it would be OK.

Most of these programs allow you to download 30 day demos, and i'd recommend doing that, as editing the compressed formats used for HD video can be very PC intensive.
