Gladly not one of my sites, but very local to me.

Just watching this gave me sweaty palms and a retracting sensation!

I couldn't do that, I'd be too knackered climbing the ladder ๐Ÿ™‚

saw that a few days ago. very chilled footage. well, as chilled as can be when showing someone investing all their faith in four of their fingers several 100ft up.

Amazingly he survived that!

The "think of the children" excuse is often trotted out, and it's rubbish - as the person from the contractor says in the article, cranes have lots of anti-climb measures (usually) so it's not something a bored kid would go do on a whim.

Sadly for him he'll never be cool as he's not all over the internet wearing a dodgy jumper.

even though he didn't die?

Reading the comment on YouTube he did take 3 months to get walking again.

A mate of mine was a base jumper - he died in a fall in December 2009. A video of some of his stuff:

I was fine till he hung from the crane with one arm. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

And I did a little giggle at the base jumper - it was the big splash of snow ๐Ÿ™‚

Exactly what I thought!

Never seen such a nervous basejumper. With good reason I guess..!
