Looking at getting a new van and want to check the history. The check sites range for £3 to 25£ for what appears to be the same service.
Are they all the same...? and is there anything else i should check history wise?

What I found is that they only tell you about insurance [b]claims[/b], not accidents.
I bought a car from a private seller, previous owner was Avis, didn't realise until I bought it from him. It had been in a front ender and hadn't been repaired properly. But HPI check showed no history. I P/Xd with a main dealer on the basis that whoever bought it after me would have some comeback if the dealer (who identified the problem during their inspection) didn't put it right.
Morally dubious, maybe, but they knew what they were getting.
