been trying to find an answer on Google but it's not springing forth... So STW must be the next best thing - someone'll know.
I want (have) to use a VBS script to find and eliminate carriage returns by using it's hex value. Anyone know how this is done, ie how to get VBS to recognise it's a hex value rather than just 052D (or whatever it is)?

I'm no VB programmer. But you could try Chr(&052D) as in: Replace(linetext, Chr(&052D), "")
