Don't drink much fizzy pop but do like the occasional coke. Saw vanilla Coke for the first time yesterday so bought a can, curious to see what it tastes like. When I open it, a vary familiar smell hits my nostrils, not unpleasant but not something I would normally associate with something you would consume.

WD40!
It tasted quite nice but struggled to get the thought of WD40 out my mind. I don't think I'll be getting another one. 🤢

It's pretty effective at getting you going if you're low on energy, I just think of it as medicine. No idea why people would drink it for pleasure though.

I use 'Willpower' but it can be difficult to find some and even more tricky to apply effectively ;o)
Lynx Dark Temptation always smells like WD40 to me as well, we got sent 4 packs of deo+shower gel in error one christmas, took me a while to use up!
Muc-Off silicone spray also smells like Cherry Coke.
TBH wouldn't surprise me if its the same chemical used in both.

I accidentally bought cherry Coke a little while ago. Christ that's grim.
On holiday a couple of weeks back I discovered lemon Coke. I wish I'd brought a case back with me, it was lush. Just the thing when it's 35 degrees outside (because the cans roll really well...)
