I quite like it actually. Ok so the marketing men have an absolute field day creating tat, but if you ignore the mass comercialism the day is a celebration of just you and your loved one*

It's my birthday....

For our 1st valentine's day I bought loads of cards, had them filled out by as many different people as possible and arranged for them to be posted to the now wife's home and work from all over the world 🙂

Married 5 year. No grand gentures here, no cards or flowers. Just a special home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, followed by some hanky panky.

I'm taking the day off work, so we will be having a nice lazy day in together.

I like to go swimming. Always nice and quiet on Valentine's day evening. No idea what the oh is doing 🙂

I'm single too so I shall be going for a nice bike ride (through the mud obviously...) whilst hoping to stumble across some kind of mtbing Daniel Craig looky-likey also out for a solitary ride.

So basically nothing apart from going biking 😳
