Do all Volvo V70s have 7 seats? If not, is it possible to convert the ones with 5 seats only in 7 seat versions?
Nope, the boot seats are/were an option, not standard. They're certainly kids only as well!
Not sure if you can retrofit them to a 5 seater, though. I would imagine you can, Volvo are pretty good at stuff like that.
yeah, it was for kids only, though by your description, it don't sound cheap!
Early and mid models you can add them relatively easily but to be cheap you need to source second hand, I understand later models don't accept them as they wanted you to buy the XC90 if you needed 7 seats.

It was in the shed when I moved in, not sure why I've kept it tbh.
The sprung mech is a bit stiff but a good dowsing with wd40 will sort that.
