Language is a living thing, you can't stop it from evolving. Don't fight it.

Besides, life is too short for getting wound up with people's grammar or spelling. Like spelling inappropriately with too many n's.

The first word of Beowulf is "Hwaet". Which you could translate as "right". But using "what" instead of "right" at would be more fun.
