Can anyone help me find some free or useful software to find out land elevation clearly, looking for somewhere sneaky to build a dh track and a mate suggested it might be a good place to start 🙂

Multimap.co.uk has free OS maps; they have contours clearly marked

I've used google earth do do some all mountain-ing around here and was faced, in reality, with a large lump of mountain that must have dropped off their dataset.
