I have decided to buy myself a new (used) triumph street scrambler.
I was told by the dealer it has only had one owner (2018 model with 900 miles)
When I asked him to confirm the number of owners on the logbook he said it has 2 listed.
The first must have been a dealer he said.
The bike was registered new 31.11.18 and registered to this dealer (although he cant tell me who this was) - then the last keeper bought the bike 18.12.18 - so the first keeper was registered for 18 days and then the bike changed hands.
Am i missing something here - Is it feasible that a dealer would have registered the bike?
It just seems to be ringing alarm bells with me - or am i worrying about nothing?

Quite likely it was a dealer so I wouldn't worry.

Pre reg cars are often bought by dealers to meet manufacturers financial incentives for quotas, possibly the same for bikes?
