Am over here and I miss the detail and info on O/S maps for plotting routes, so does anyone know if there is an US company who produces such good maps thanks

I think the best are the Geophysical Survey ones. I believe you can get digital copies via Viewranger if you already have their application.

I've used Green Trails Maps in the north west, very good too. They only do west coast states and NY though. Can't remember what we had for NJ and Penn, but they were OK too, don't think you get best coverage from a single company. This may have changed with digital, though.
