Have a Garmin Nuvi 310 that I bought back in 2006. Served me well, but the mapping software is now needing updated.
Logged onto the Garmin site, and they are looking for £60 to update the maps. Seems awful expense to me.
I'd almost be better off buying a new Garmin sat nav with up-to-date maps for about £80.
Does anyone know of any alternative to getting the mapping software updated without having to pay as much as this?
Thanks.

Not easy with the Garmin
as above, try bittorrent
You'll need to find the maps & then find a working keygen
Next time get a Tomtom - much easier

Just found the whole Garmin City Navigator Europe 2009NT on eBay for a tenner.
Doubt you'll probably need some key code to make it work though.
