Anyone know how to unlock a 3GS iphone, thats currently locked to vodafone? Its got v4 s/w loaded - the tricky one to unlock!!

Have you contacted Vodaphone ? I have just unlocked and O2 one and they did that for free

Yes tried that and they (Apple not Vodafone) dont seem interested as it was a contact upgrade for someone. Apparently if it was a PAYG they would sort it...

If you read through all the comments on [url= http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2010/02/10/downgrade-iphone-3g-baseband-051201-042608/ ]here[/url], you'll probably find what you need. There are links to how tos and such. Just takes a bit of looking but you'll work it out. It helped me sort my baseband issue and out and unlock mine.

Just ignore the dearth of posts such as "not contact the computer iphone plz help me". :O)

Look on hackintosh forum, a lot of reading but the dev team will have a way. They are the ones who have "hacked" every version so far, and then you have cheeky barstewards on the street that charge you to unlock when their software is free.
