For my 11 year old daughter.

She's 5ft tall, been practicing on one at her trapeze class and wants one for Christmas.

Think we've settled on a 20" wheel.

So, do I just go for the £50 neon green one that Winstanleys have or is that just a USO and there's others a little bit more (£80ish tops) that are likely to provide a better tool?

(I am obviously anticipating having a broken arm myself on Boxing Day having proven I can't just get on it and ride the thing)

This is the CRC of unicycles: http://www.unicycle.uk.com/unicycles.html (except with good customer service 😉 ) Go for a freestyle one rather than a learner if you can stretch the budget a little.

The Club Freestyle is a good all rounder. Should last a while. Or there are some good deals on the Qu Ax Luxus if she likes pink. If she gets into it the N+1 rule applies doubly to unicycles and don't get me started on wheel sizes 🙂

BTW 20" wheel size is the right choice and at 5' she should be OK with a standard frame and seatpost
