[Closed] ulnar shortening... Anyone had it??

evening....

a couple of years ago i had a fall off my bike which resulted in a torn tfcc ligament and tares in a couple of others. this was operated on and the tfcc was debrided and the others tidies up/cauterised and one left alone (its a big ligament and will cope with the small tear). last year to help lessen the pain i had a cortisone jab... now the pain is back with friends and is having a bit of a party in my wrist...
i will be getting the dr to contact the consultant to see if he can do anything... one of the options is an ulnar shortening which has been shown to help reduce pain in some cases where standard debridement hasn't.
or
partial/total fusing of my wrist (not a favoured method IMO)

so the question is anyone had their ulnar shortened and how long was the recovery (before back on bike)?
