Other than Center Parcs, what have you found to be a good option?

I'd probably go for a London hol, museums etc.

Did the Scilly Isles (before kids) one November and the weather was amazing.
TBH limited options but Cornwall is pleasant out of season. Plenty for kids to do too.

Always have an autumn break, they're only 4 and 2 so the swimming etc is great for them. But wondering about something different.

Google Sherrill Farm in Devon, halfway up the Tamar valley, big indoor heated pool shared between a dozen cottages. we went in a wet Feb, and still had a good time, plenty of indoor stuff to do within a reasonable drive, and nice hiking and biking if you catch the weather right.
