Just moved house and installed a Sky Q box and LG TV. Both are connected via optical cable to a Naim Muso

Playing music via my phone or CD player I never need the volume over 1/2 volume. However both Sky and LG require over 3/4 volume which is not good for the amp!

Is there anyway to boost up the output volume from the sky and LG sources?

Ta

I'm curious as to why it isn't good for the amp?

You can alter the output volume of the Q Box I think in the settings but not sure if it's just over HDMI.

yes, is the amp substandard and you are worried it will distort all over your speakers and blow the tweeters ?

It is a Naim so not beyond the realms of possibility 🙂

You culd buy more sensitive speakers ?
