We currently have one 📺 and use virgin and a chromecast for Netflix duties.

Have the FIL staying for a few days as he’s not to well at the moment. I’ve said I’ll set a tv 📺 up in his room, I’ve bought an ariel but it’s 💩 no chance of it ever working.
What’s the best way of having tv in another room ?
Are all channels on Now Tv ?
Get another chromecast this means only BBC iPlayer- anything else will be to complicated for him.
Any other solutions would be great ????

Has the TV not got smart stuff built in? ITVplayer, 4player, etc is much easier to use on the inbuilt smart compared to Chromecast. If it is temporary then can you run an aerial cable along the skirting board? What about a dvd player and a load of DVDs from the charity shop. Seem to be 3 for £1 at the moment.

It’s not a smart tv and we don’t have an aerial on the roof anymore

Think I’ll connect the chromecast

Easiest way would be Amazon Firestick / Now TV stick / Roku from the nearest place that sells them or second hand from Facebook marketplace. Stick it in the back of the TV, connect to wifi, job done.

Second chromecast will work and so will any new TV that works off your wifi, without having to set up new accounts (as firestick etc might), as long as you've not exceeded the max no. of screens.
