Would recommend watching this if it's on near you.
Guy Martin is quite a character, he also seems to love his mountain biking. He gets around the paddock on an Orange Five - I think.
Been a couple of topics on this already this week. But it's a really good film went to see it last night with one of my mates who's interviewed, also know another one of the racers interviewed, very strange seeing friends in massive 3D.
Oh and it's an alpine 160, not a five.
Guys a legend!! Think he competes in a few downhill races too!
Seen it on Wednesday and it is quite good but 3d is a bit of a gimmick and only works on some scenes.
Tries to give an overall story of the TT which is good for someone who knows very little and Guy features heavily and comes across as a genuine character in comparison to others.
There wasn`t much if any 3d from riders point of view which would have been different.
Most of the onboard footage was bought from itv as were the helicopter shots, which is why he 3D doesn't work quite as well for them, the opening scene was shot with a 3D camera mounted on a Wilson Craig prepped fireblade during practice week, can't remember who rode it but was originally supposed to be Guy but he was too busy with press work.
Another shout for this. Saw it last night and was blown away. I've no real interest in bikes, but this about so much more than bikes. A real insight into the people involved. Only slight gripe was trying to understand what Guy was saying half the time 😆
