The Welsh rugby team are sporting this on the front of their shirts, doesn't is usually say brains? What is essai and why is it there?

novel idea, but it doesnt get away from the fact that Brains SA is still one of the most undrinkable, godforsaken approximations of beer ever wrung from the sweaty undergarments of a welshman

They are not allowed to advertise beer in France - competing sponsers or something. Its a good joke - the normal sponsers are Brains who make a beer called SA and essai means try in French - so to the french its bilingual try and to the welsh its try SA
Last year instead of Brains they had Brawn on the shirts
