I have a cellar divided into three rooms. The middle one has a ~150mm concrete slab, which is preventing water draining from the front room to the back, where it could drain away out the building. I had been planning to get a trench cut in the slab, install a drain, then cover it back over and repair the slab. It'll be horribly dusty and noisy. I've heard about trenchless / mole drilling. Does anyone know if it's like to be suitable for a domestic project like this or is it going to be mega bucks comapred to a day or two labouring? The slab is only about 3m wide.

You cant mole through concrete, dio you mean going under the slab?
Sorry re-read, possible but probably not practical, by the time yoive messed about digging launch /catchpits etc you could have had a saw through the slab

Yep, you've got to dig a deep hole outside to start the mole off from...
Still saw and a drainage channel set into the concrete? Why do you need to bury the drain?
How about a 110v cut off saw diamond blade and a good vac unit?(or water based dust surpression if suitable) should be quieter than petrol saw and decent ppe please
