The Sap won!

My wifes yeti is covered in pine tree sap. We'd left if it as the tree was aboved her office parking space. The tree has now gone so we're trying to get the sap of the paint.

We've tried a number of things, T-cut, polish, tar remover and today I caught her using Bombay, needless to say I wasn't amused.

Any recommendations for removal of the Sap?

Olive oil and paraffin are supposed to do it. So quite likely also WD40 and similiar.

Acetone or IPA (both ~£15/gallon off ebay/internet, and useful for cleaning just about anything).

Acetone is nail varnish remover, your wife may well have some.

Autosmart Tardis, you can buy it in small quantities on eBay much cheaper than gin

What's it like with tonic and a slice of lemon though?
