Ordered a tyre on the 9th & on the 12th I recieved an email saying they were processing & hoped to dispatch on the 18th, so pap I had to laugh.  Maybe they meant procrastinating instead of processing?

Ordered a evoc bag from them, checked the confirmation which basically said they were getting it from the supplier then posting it out so cancelled. Needed it sooner so I guess a lot is not holding stock and getting it in when orders come through.

Funny that. I have heard the stories of Tredz not having stock, and delaying delivery for long periods of time, but I have never experienced it myself. I have had a number of orders from them, and I don't think I have ever waiting for anything beyond 48 hours.

Tredz are bad at this. Very bad. Items show up in stock... Which means in stock at supplier who then posts to tredz... Who then remove from the box.... Have a cuppa.... Another cuppa.... and another.... then when they trip over the box, they decide to post it. Last 3 orders have taken ages, mainly because one item is always not actually in stock so they hold the whole order until you moan at them. Wigglereaction, Evans and even halfords (who I believe own tredz) send part orders as default.

Should have learnt my lesson third time but I am all for second and third chances. There won't be a fourth.

Grrrrrr

It's why I don't use them.

Two weeks if you are one of the lucky ones in my experience. Don't think I will use them again. Might have been a one off but still pretty bad.

The majority of my orders with them have been problem free.

The last one for a hope V4 took ages but it was at an insanely low price so I was prepared to wait for it. They did send me regular updates as well.

I don't order from Tredz if I need stuff in a hurry.

2 weeks would be rapid for them. I had to order from them as part of an insurance settlement. I waited about 6 months all-told. All parts were showing in stock when I ordered. Worst customer service experience of my life, which is saying something...

Have used them a few times and they’ve always been really good, but my last experience not so. Ordered a tyre which showed a sin stock at he time of ordering and it took best part of two weeks as it turned out it wasn’t actually in stock.

i’m not sure if it is deliberate or they’re just really disorganised.

but that experience is beaten by a recent one with Bike Inn. They make Tredz look super speedy. Was particular miffed as I paid extra for expedited deliver too.

According to their own tracking system it took them 5 days to pick some sunglasses of a shelf and put them in the post and then just 24 hours for postie to drive them across the country.

I just assumed they didnt really have them in stock  if not thats a pretty inefficient warehouse.

They are horrendous...I ordered the last tyre in stock on their website, then found their ebay listing showed 3 more in stock so ordered a 2nd.  (I took the punt on the basis the ebay stock count could be more up to date that the website)  It turns out they had 0.

After a week or so the website purchase got quietly pushed out by about 6 weeks, so I cancelled and bought the same tyre from a more expensive place.

Then they pushed the ebay purchase out by 4 weeks for the same model of tyre (whats 2 weeks between you and me?) but avoided the ebay messaging system and emailed me directly to avoid being penalised by ebay for late delivery.

And to top it off, I'd ordered a 2nd item from the website, and no one seemed to think splitting the orders might offer some reconciliation by at least delivering part of the order within the next fortnight 🙁

My experience has been the opposite. Truly in stock items arrive rapidly (the instock wording is slightly different so I think I can tell what is instock with them rather than with supplier). I have made several orders for bits that were not in stock, including a few items where I contacted them and asked if they could add a product to the site for special order. In all of these cases they were very helpful (via chat and email), the delivery expectations were quickly set by prompt emails post order (that clearly indicated part had been ordered from supplier) and delivery exceeded those expectations.

Agree.  They offer good prices and a lot of that ability for low prices is presumably based on the fact they don't stock most of what they offer for sale.  You are then dependent on supplier have the stock and sending the stock to Tredz in a timely manner before it gets sent on to you.

I checked my order history with Tredz - not had a single problem with receiving orders. And I didn't realise 2 of my most expensive online orders were with them! I've had some minor issues with them, but I'd use them again, for definite.

I was going to order an Oneal full face helmet from Tredz , but they wanted £25 for delivery. So I ordered it from Wheelies & got it delivered free. I know it s not the same subject but I thought it was a bit weird.

Is it a Hope stem by any chance. I have been waiting a month for a BB. I am assuming they are on stop with Hope. It doesn't take a month to make one.

Finally received my order...

If they had been honest with the delivery time I may have waited.

I’ll never order from them again to save a few quid.

I've just had an email order now despatched 24th. They are going to send it special delivery so i don't have to wait too long. It's only a bottle of Hunters silicone. Must be rare stuff
