We are supposed to be taking Mrs J's mother on holiday with us next week. She is 72 and in good health except for highish blood pressure which she takes medication for. The only other issue is that she has had a catteract removed from one eye and is waiting to have the other done and so is technically waiting to see a consultant.
SAGA who she usually uses have said they can't cover her because she is waiting for treatment.
So any experience of specialist providers worth a look? She wouldn't mind a policy which would exclude and payment/treatment related to her eyes if that would help.
TIA
Geoff

My Mum has used Saga before but last time we tried to book with them there were so many questions relating to previous medical conditions which added extra cost (even those for which she is no longer receiving treatment), that we decided to find an alternative. Can't remember the company off the top of my head (I think it may have been a link off the Easyjet site) but I'll try and find out for you.

I don't fall into that age range but have pre-existing conditions, I've used STA Travel as they exclude them so it's less faff than trying to get them covered, the other issue is over 65 in plenty of the cover, but a google of pre-existing and over 65 I found this, Flexicover never used them so it's not a recommendation just they seem to provide what you need.

We're with Atlas. with a pre existing medical condition, they get you to call their doctor and explain the situation etc.

Reasonable cost too.
