3 day trip to Germany with one 5 hour mountain bike ride in the middle. Who's good for travel insurance or would you just risk it?

Do you have it with your bank account?

First Direct, so I don't think I do. Plus, of I did, I imagine it wouldn't cover the mountain biking.

I assume you have already got travel insurance seeing as though you are no longer covered for any health care....

Are you mtbing down a street with easy access by ambulance, or some where a bit more wild that may require a helicopter....

We cant tell you how risk adverse (daft) to be

There's a comparison thing on MoneySavingExpert.

Honestly, I wouldn't overthink it, a single-trip policy will probably be like twenty quid unless you're ancient.

I'm no spring chicken and no travel insurance currently. Just requested a GHIC to cover the most basic of things.

Try Snowcard. There is an option to remove the theft options. Cut the cost in half for me. I got cover for tarmac bike touring - Adventure Basic level - for a month in the USA. £113. All I wanted was medical cover.  I'll take the theft risk for my 15 year old tourer and scabby camping kit myself.

I'm ancient - over 60.  Though no medical conditions.

Granted MTB cover will be a higher category  but should be buttons for a 3 day trip to Germany.

Will First Direct upgrade the cover for a small payment?
