[Closed] Trans - Apennines : Naples to Turin advice?

Hi there,

After a crazy year of work, I have spontaneously booked a flight to Naples on 12th October and back from Turin on the 28th.

I need to get away from humans, buildings, cities and the UK in general, so I'm planning a solo offroad ride across the Apennines, through Perugia and on to Turin, where I have some friends.

I went on an amazing transalps ride with a couple of friends a few years ago, so know a little bit about bike setup, luggage and camping etc.

With my fairly heavy laden PACE (see pic) I don't want anything too gnarly, but I do like a bit of technical stuff and some long challenging climbs and descents.

I imagine I'll wild camp 80% of the time, assuming that its at least semi-legal.

What I'm really hoping, is that someone can give me a bit of advice on; routes, trails, remote villages, lakes, bike shops, camping spots, mountain passes, dangerous goats etc.
