Ok Im a shift worker...5 days/nights on 4 days off - so yes Ive come to expect my metabolism will be struggling with coming to terms with my irratic eating/drinking / sleeping patterns.
But
Sometimes I just cannot get my head around the randomness of how at certain times my clothes feel baggy despite a reduction in training or a period of eating crap foods.
For example - my training routine for the past two years pretty much conisits of a day running ( 7 miles),a day out on the bike (offroad of course - 3hrs+)and then a hard session in the gym the next day( all over workout). I give myself a day off whenever I feel like it, perhaps one day a week.
Im fit as a fiddle with an ok diet.
Why after 3 days of doing no routine and eating rubbish - am I feeling toned, and all my clothes are baggier??
Bizarre!!
3 days isn't really long enough for any major change in your physique. The only thing that'll happen in that time that may alter your weight is water 'content' for want of a better word.
