lol target is to stay my current weight but reduce love handle/belly fat and maintain current muscles.
at my work i have two ovens at my disposal in a fully fitted kitchen, so roasts are one of the simplest things to make, even easier if you chop the veg to the right sizes to they all take the same amount of time to cook 🙂
Ah right, that's cheating. My work had a sink and a microwave. 😆

Coffee on the go now.
Not sure what dinner will be.
Maybe wild alaskan salmon, spinach salad.
But alternatively, could be some of that curry meal BagStard posted recently.
I have discovered that eggs, err, slow thing down for me, [u]considerably[/u].
So I have to cut back on them, cept for Scotch Eggs, of course...

despite the 3 eggs 5 days a week i dont find they cause me any digestive slowing, i think its the protein shake that balances them out, if not that then the 8 eccles cakes a week (2 a day on the weekends, one a day monday-thursday. friday is a sad day)

Its a Salad. So its Spinach, peppers, toms, spring onions, peas if I fancy, mushrooms, yadda, yadda.
All with a large portion of omega 3 rich wild fish.
Which I hope will assist the few brain cells I possess.
As of last night, there is no red wine in the flat.
So its all looking like a house point for Solo, today.
😀 the sugar and milk in my morning coffee isn't making or keeping me fat. i'm down to 78kg if i bothered to weight myself naked or before my morning coffee (just under 79kg in gym clothes and trainers, holding my iPod touch and full of coffee)
oh and my muscles are making wimmin orgasm just by knowing i'm in the same postcode as them.

Well, I've finally managed to kinda get the iDave to work for me, but I've basically had to start some pretty robust calorie restriction in order to lose any weight. Drinking plenty of water, running, riding, being gosh darn strict on the no simple carbs. Ho Hum.
TBF my traditional 'lay off the cake and beer and ride loads' strategy was much less of a hassle and I was marginally less grumpy about it too.

87kg, down from 92kg after 6 weeks of iDaving. That does include a 4-week lull in which diddly squat happened. I dunno if I was putting muscle mass back on or there were some water retention issues. We'll see.
Well I did the first day of C25k today and it was ok, right knee and hip feel a bit achey. Certainly feels like a better workout than 20 minutes of cycling.

The issue is that stringent observance should result in around 2kg loss per week, not nil loss. Its also [i]not supposed[/i] to require calorie restriction or high activity levels. Only for me, it seems to need both ...
I have often wondered if I am a sub-clinical diabetic or something, based on my bodies occassionally odd responses to being fed. This would account for the iDave ineffectitude as my body won't react normally to low GI tactics. Not sure I want to open that pandora's box just yet.

I'd suggest that the 2Kg in a week, would be the early stages.
As body weight reduces, the propensity to shed more, tapers, ime.
Until we hit about 12-15 percent BF.
Just what is a typical ADH eating day ?, and what does the day off look like ?.
some people lose 2kg a week, some 4, some 1, some none, but all lose over time until they settle around 12-15% BF

Cheers iDave, I'll keep soldiering on and see how things pan out.
Solo, given when I was racing a fair amount 10 years ago I was 70kg, I'd say I have a way to go yet before the taper should kick in!
The day off isn't mad, just some bread, milk, fruit and cake. Maybe a beer or two. The stuff I miss.
Typical day, well in the lull period I was having:
brekkie: scrambled egg, 2x100% meat chipolatas or lean bacon
lunch: undressed salad or leftovers or home-made hummus and gram-flour flatbreads
tea: something iDave compliant, made in huge quantities, with huge piles of beans, lentils and veg in order to try and stop me feeling the need for sweet things (those this NEVER works, even if I eat so much I feel sick).
Now I've cut out brekkie as I never used to bother with it, and I'm restricting portion size to about 70% RDA based on some back-of-fag-packet calcs I've done.
Sunday day-off: cereal and milk/long road ride/burger/cherry cake/lamb curry & rice.
Yesterday: black coffee&water/leftover homemade dhal and butter beans/stir-fry veg and oven-baked salmon
Today: black coffee&water/tomatos, coleslaw and hummus/TBC lump of lean meat and huge stack of veg.
😀 Sorry TSY. Yes I went for a run instead of riding my bike because I get a bit bored of road after a while. And my roadie mate said that running helped him out for stamina on the road bike, so I thought I'd try it.
