little grey v8 fergie

.
I have no idea what this is
That is a road roller, when the road is surface dressed with bitumen and loose chippings it is used to press the stone into the tar.
I was thinking more make/model. Anyone know?
According to DVLA it's a Bomag - I'll be damned if I can find it exactly but looks similar to the BW 16 R.

Spotted this beast last winter:
get ready to bid (hopefully no paywall) down under collection up for sale....just 1 or 2
and relax with a log drink to read this article...most Australians live in cities but national news covers tractoring:

Blimey, can't believe this thread is still staggering on! I went to the Cheshire Steam Fair last weekend, I'll get some photos up later.
Wow, it's ten years old!
Where did you see those engines Matt?
Between Ben****ers USAF and MOD Woodbridge. I can get GR - there were loads of old things there.
Looks interesting. What does GR mean?
Grid Reference.
More old machinery, mostly pumps, and mystery massive ramp.

Thought the same thing 🙂
Come on then. Post up some of your videos for everyone to see...
Well if my bro won't post his videos I will 🙂
Just for reference. Some of these videos may indeed have been in South Gloucestershire as the farm he works on certainly does contract work all the way up past Lydney.
Combining last year
And some vintage action from 1995
