Have a set of Toyota roof bars. I [i]think[/i] these are made by Mont Blanc.
Is there any way of changing the horrible plastic bar key for something more substantial?

Don't know the design but would Thule keys fit?

No, as it happens we've got a set of Thule bars for the other car; can't see how the lock barrels will go in :-/
