You mean yesterday it all kicked off?

I think you were watching the previous day's coverage. All the big guns (minus Wiggo) were firing.

That did sound like a good stage to have seen. Lots of attacks from the big guns and a close finish.

Yes, saw that, but they missed the attacks yesterday.
The non-commentary one got a couple of the attacks in but I would have liked to see more of Rodreguez' move. He seemed to hide under the barrier!

I was quite amused by the BBC's insistence on continually calling it a major stage race, it really couldn't be any more minor.

However well done to Froome, there where still a few big names in there that he had to beat.

Pretty much all the big names there and out to win it so a great win for Froome.

He impressed me in this one. Although it does seem at times like he either plays possum a lot of doesn't have the burst of speed that Contador and Rodriguez seem to have. (which is no mean feat as they're the quickest climbers on the planet of course).

What's really impressed me is that for the majority of the tougher parts of the climbs he's been alone from a Team Sky perspective, not being dragged up by the team, just grinding it out on his own. OK, at the start of climbs and flats he's got the team, but hey, it's a team sport.

Last night getting the stage win and battling up the climbs was great to see...

He's been climbing on his own as the others can't keep up ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have to say I was expecting Contador to win, so it's a pleasant surprise.

I'm fairly sure some of the other Team Sky climbers could have stayed with Froome a lot longer on some of the stages if they were ordered to push themselves hard.
